Day 1 – Welcome to Bangalore
Arrive at Kempegowda International Airport and transfer to a luxury five-star hotel. Rest and ease into the rhythm of South India. Dinner included.
Day 2 – Drive to Mysore
Drive to Mysore (5 hrs), breaking for dosas a
(5 hrs by road) Stop for dosa, idli-sambar, coconut chutney, and filter coffee on the way. Arrive in time for the magical Sunday lighting of Mysore Palace (7–8 PM). Dinner included.
Day 3 – Exploring Mysore by Tuk-Tuk
Morning tuk-tuk tour with a guide to get the lay of the land. Lunch recommended at RRR (banana-leaf biryani). Evening guided walking tour with local snacks — ending around 8:30 PM. Dinner included.
Day 4 – Chamundi Hills & Leisure
Early visit to Chamundi Hills and Nandi Bull statue (option: climb 1000 steps, 300 steps, or drive up). Breakfast at a popular local spot. Free afternoon to shop Mysore’s markets, sandalwood and silk factories, incense workshops, or bidi-making. Dinner included.
Day 5 – Heritage at Srirangapatna
Day trip to Tipu Sultan’s summer palace and temple town of Srirangapatna, surrounded by the River Kaveri. Dinner included.
Day 6 – Flight to Kerala, Drive to Varkala
Morning drive to Bangalore Airport, then short flight to Trivandrum, followed by 1.5 hr road trip to Varkala. Arrive before sunset.
Day 7 – Varkala Excursions
Visit Papanasam Beach, Kappil Lake, Janardana Swamy Temple, Sivagiri Mutt, Ponnumthuruthu Island, and Anjengo Fort.
Day 8 – Free Day in Varkala
Explore at leisure — tuk-tuks or scooters available for short trips. Wander the North Cliff’s cafes, shops, and shacks overlooking the sea.
Day 9 – Backwaters & Houseboat Cruise
Drive 1 hr to Ashtamudi Lake for a full day on Kerala’s backwaters: houseboat cruise, canoe rides, Munroe Island, coir weaving, birdlife, mangroves, fishing villages. Lunch included. Return by evening.
Day 10 – Return to Bangalore
Morning transfer to Trivandrum Airport, flight to Bangalore, check in at a luxury hotel. Evening free for spa, pool, or a celebratory dinner.
