TravelEscapades is known for curating experiential bespoke itineraries with a strong inclination toward nature friendly, off-beat, outdoor experiences.
What started as a small business, quickly grew into a leading Travel Company that has planned and executed countless successful vacations since 1991.

Mayank, born and brought up in Delhi, dawns several hats, a passionate entrepreneur who has also owned an eco-friendly nature resort in the Himalayas for 30 years, manufactures industrial products but prefers to be known as an adventure enthusiast, in love with the off-beat outdoors and believes that hard work can surely fill your pockets with money but travel fills your soul with happiness.

“I ride my Harley and I also make Industrial Hoses (I find the latter really boring though.) I have travelled extensively both on my bike and my car, all over the Himalayan Foothills including Leh / Ladakh, Spiti and all around the Southern Coasts. Not only have I explored the beautiful routes of India, that are heard and unheard of, I have also been on several international road trips and there’s so much more to go.
I have been a very keen networker and being a hotelier I have participated in mostly all domestic travel exhibitions like TTF, IITM, SATTE, ITM etc. and have been member of domestic travel associations like IATO, ADTOI, ATOAI, FHRAI, HRANI, TAAI.

I have also won the best exhibitor award at SATTE held at Delhi in 2005. Internationally I have participated in the WTM London, ITB – berlin, Singapore and Macau. Being the owner of an offbeat resort I have always been keenly interested in and involved in sustainable tourism endeavours. Over these years I have become an expert in planning and implementing Sustainable Tourism practices and my biggest claim to fame is the ecofriendly resort, called Mountain Trail that I have owned and run at an off-beat destination in the hills called Mukteshwar for 26 years.
Well without boasting Mountain Trail was the reason why Mukteshwar is on the tourism map today and is popularly known for scenic, nature friendly and adventurous holidays. Mountain Trail was the only green resort in the region with least impact on the environment. Had benefitted the local population by generating employment and we had enthusiastically been driving initiatives for afforestation, cleanliness, training programs for the local hospitality teams so that service standards of the entire hill station improves. I have been very keen, rather aggressive at professional networking. I was a member of the BNI India fraternity and even presided over Noida’s biggest chapter for a term.”
