White Water Rafting On The Ganges At Rishikesh

Tour Highlights

When we say Experience Rafting we truly want to convey that we arrange rafting trips for travelers, couples, families, and groups who aren’t pro rafters but are adventure seeking people who want to enjoy / experience white water rafting under the guidance and supervision of experts who own high quality rafts, experts who have years of experience behind them, are certified rafters who follow all safety protocols, rafters who know how to keep you safe and secure throughout the trip while ensuring you take home some amazing memories. Our team from I.A.T (Inbound Adventure Tours) ensures that.
Why should one pay Rs.1500-2500 for a trip that is also available for a mere Rs.800? Fair Query! Please do note that Rafts range from 2Lacs to 6+Lacs. Rafts are made in Rishikesh, and rafts are imported from the USA. The difference clearly is due to the quality of rafts used, defining how safe you will be on the river, and equally due to the quality of the rafting captains/guides who’s primary role is to make sure you enjoy the experience and stay safe while doing so. This adventure sport is prone to mishaps that do not happen every day but when they do….. people suffer.
Proper Knowledge, quality of raft, and years of experience matter here hence it’s always better to pay the premium.
River Ganga (also known globally as River Ganges) is a forgiving river. You’ll hear this from most rafters who literally live on the river. The stretch used by tourists at Rishikesh is great for first timers / enthusiasts / amateurs as it goes up to grade 3 rapids usually and can reach grade 4 but that’s rare, depending on the water level of the river, the season, etc.
POINT TO BE NOTED: Rafting with certified / experienced rafting teams only and beware of the low cost, not so experienced rafting teams who do not follow proper safety protocols and use low cost / low quality rafts (Sharing out of experience. I have experienced over 10 rafting trips at Rishikesh)
Please also note that accommodation available at Rishikesh, which is usually preferred by adventure seekers who want to enjoy the outdoors, camps, nature, river side stay etc.. are basic tents / camp sites by the river. Although now you have options of luxury air conditioned tents as well and some concrete air-conditioned cottages / rooms have also come up in recent times but they serve basic, home like meals and do not boast of superefficient or premium service standards. Having said there are more premium, luxurious resorts / hotels available at Rishikesh and can be opted for if you don’t want to experience the more adventurous camping / riverside stays.
